The Music Man
America’s bygone era is glorified in Meredith Willson’s award-winning Broadway classic. Fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill cons the people of River City into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band … despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef! By turns wicked, funny, warm, romantic and touching, The Music Man is family entertainment at its best!

The 39 Steps
Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! This two-time Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of four), an on-stage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers and some good old-fashioned romance!

The Aristocats KIDS
What’s a cat to do? In this feline adventure based on the Disney film, Madame’s jealous butler Edgar cat-naps Duchess and her Aristokittens and abandons them in the Parisian countryside. Luckily, Thomas O’Malley and his rag-tag bunch of alley cats come to their rescue! A jazzy, upbeat score includes the favorites “The Aristocats,” “Scales and Arpeggios” and “Ev’rybody Wants to Be a Cat.”

Mary Poppins
Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, this “practically perfect” musical delighted Broadway audiences for over 2,500 performances and received nominations for nine Olivier and seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Featuring local stage legend Marge Lillard, singing “Feed the Birds” as the Bird Woman, and filled with timeless classics such as “Jolly Holiday,” “Step in Time” and the Academy Award-winning “Chim-Chim Cher-ee,” this show can only be described as “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!”

Tuesdays with Morrie
Sixteen years after his college graduation, Mitch Albom happens to catch former college professor Morrie Schwartz’s appearance on a television news program and learns that his old professor is battling Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Mitch is reunited with Morrie, played by Jay Doolittle, and what starts as a simple visit turns into a weekly pilgrimage and a class on the meaning of life.

Measure for Measure
Duke Vincentio appoints Angelo as deputy of Vienna. Under Angelo’s watchful eye, old laws against impropriety and lewd behavior are newly enforced. But can Angelo adhere to his own high standards? One of Shakespeare’s darkest comedies, Measure for Measure explores the layers of corruption and hypocrisy which often lurk beneath public righteousness.

Honky Tonk Angels
The creator of Always…Patsy Cline combines over 30 classic country tunes with a hilarious story about three gutsy gals who are determined to better their lives and follow their dreams to Nashville. The all-hit song list includes “I’ll Fly Away,” “Stand by Your Man,” “Harper Valley PTA,” “9 to 5,” “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” “Ode to Billy Jo,” “These Boots Are Made for Walking,” “Rocky Top” and “I Will Always Love You.”

The Year of Magical Thinking

The Vagina Monologues
Funny, outrageous, emotionally affecting and occasionally angry … Eve Ensler’s wildly popular series of monologues about women and performed by women is back for the thirteenth year!

A Christmas Carol
A Roxy tradition returns! John McDonald is Ebenezer Scrooge in this rollicking musical morsel which will soften even the hardest of hearts. Meeting the spirits of Christmas Present, Past and Future, Scrooge finds redemption and rediscovers the true meaning of the holiday in this Charles Dickens classic.

The Santaland Diaries
An out-of-work actor decides to become a Macy’s elf during the holiday crunch. The job is simply humiliating, but once the thousands of visitors start pouring through Santa’s workshop, he becomes battle weary and bitter. His bitterness, however, turns to bliss as he experiences the miracle called Christmas.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch
The story of “internationally ignored song stylist” Hedwig Schmidt, a fourth-wall smashing East German rock ‘n’ roll diva, this groundbreaking award-winning musical is rocking, funny, touching and ultimately inspiring to anyone who has felt life gave them an inch when they deserved a mile.

The Rocky Horror Show
Prepare to do the “Time Warp” like you have never done it before! Dig out your fishnet stockings and sharpen your stilettos … that sweet transvestite and his motley crew from Richard O’Brien’s cult classic are back for the third year!
Audience participation is encouraged, and patrons are invited to dress up in their favorite Rocky Horror attire. Bags of props will also be for sale in the lobby one hour prior to every performance. The following items, however, will not be permitted: rice, confetti, glitter, squirt guns, lighters, matches, candles, silly spray string, or any other objects which may damage the theatre or injure actors and/or audience members.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Washington Irving’s classic tale recounts the frightening events which took place in Sleepy Hollow during the late eighteenth century. This world premiere adaptation breathes new life into an old story which has entertained readers and influenced writers of horror for almost 200 years and features two of literature’s most iconic characters: Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman.

Stupid Kids
In rapid, highly stylized, music-video-like scenes, John C. Russell’s satirical comedy follows four high school students as they make their way from first through eighth period and beyond, struggling with the fears, frustrations and longings unique to youth.

On the Town
“New York, New York, it’s a wonderful town!” Celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Leonard Bernstein’s legendary musical about three sailors (Ryan Bowie, Michael Spaziani and Cameron Perry) who manage to find love and incredible adventures in the Big Apple on a 24-hour leave. Starring Stacy Turner, bursting with high energy dancing choreographed by Jessica Davidson, and featuring such memorable numbers as “New York, New York,” “Lonely Town” and the hilarious “I Can Cook Too,” this New York City musical comedy is not to be missed!

Celebrate 32 years of live entertainment on the corner of Franklin and First with an evening of great food, fine art and splendid theatre!
Silent art auction with Harvest Manhattans, courtesy of MB Roland Distillery, at 6pm.
Dinner by The Bound’ry at 6:30pm, featuring June Rubbed Filet of Beef and Seared Scallops, Finished with Manhattan Sauce; Grilled Asparagus and Salted Fingerling Potatoes; Bibb Salad with Port Wine Poached Pears, Spiced Pecans, Red Onion and Dijon Vinaigarette; and Strawberry Hibiscus Cheesecake, complemented with Beachaven wines.
Live auction with Sammy Stuard at 7:30pm, followed by selections from Leonard Bernstein’s ON THE TOWN.

A Night on the Terrazzo
Take a walk down memory lane with songs from our last three decades on the corner of Franklin and First. Performed in a cabaret setting in our lobby and featuring a little Kander and Ebb, mixed with some Sondheim — not to mention Bernstein, Herman and Styne — this musical revue will have you reminiscing and singing all night!
