Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and girl-next-door Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their “Summer Nights” as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as “Greased Lightnin’,” “It’s Raining on Prom Night,” “Hand Jive” and many more!

Combining her actual words with authentic slave songs, spirituals and folk songs of the period, this one-act play chronicles the life of this remarkable woman from the day she is sold away from her family as a young girl, through her struggle to free herself and her son, to her emergence as a popular and respected figure advocating abolition and women’s rights.
