He’s out of the closet, out of control and out-rageous! No strings attached and no holds barred, Twinky Boy – “The World’s Gayest PUPPET with a hand stuck UP IT!” – is coming to the Roxy Regional Theatre on Saturday, October 8, at 7:30pm.
Twinky Boy turns up the heat and burns down the house! He’s hilariously over-the-top and brought to astonishing life by skilled comedian-puppeteer Jerry Halliday, whose laugh-packed stage appearances have demolished audiences with comedy dynamite in such big-name hotel casinos as Bally’s, Rio, Harrah’s, Resorts and others in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, as well as comedy clubs, cabarets and theatres nationwide.
Twinky Boy travels the entertainment circuit with Halliday’s other madcap maniacs Granny Goodtimes, Sista Girl, and the Not-So-Holy Nun.
The critics are unanimous: The Las Vegas-Review Journal raves “Jerry Halliday gives a strong polished act with a lot of laughs, brisk barbs, rapid-fire repa comedy material.” The Reno Gazette said “Jerry Halliday pulls out all the stops, pausing only for laughs.” According to the Boston Globe, Jerry is “bawdily funny and not to be missed.” “A flaming good time!” says South Florida Gay News.
In addition to his casino and club performances, Halliday has long been a hit at resort venues in Key West, Fire Island, Russian River, Rehoboth Beach and Douglas Dunes and broke box office records in three ten-week summer seasons at one of the world’s crown jewels of vacation destinations, Provincetown, Massachusetts.
