Roxy Regional School of the Arts

Roxy Regional School of the Arts

Since 1995, the Roxy Regional Theatre has been introducing youth to the experience of live theatre and expanding their knowledge of the craft through the School of the Arts. Children ages 10 to 18 learn various acting techniques and present a junior production on the mainstage as part of the regular season.

The Spring 2020 session of the School of the Arts runs January 11 through May 23. Classes meet every Saturday from 9:00am to 12:30pm. Topics covered include Theatre History, Voice & Technical Theatre and Improvisation & Acting. This session will be focused on BYE BYE BIRDIE, JR., which students will present on the mainstage in May/June 2020.

SCHOOL OF THE ARTS REGISTRATION FORM
SCHOOL OF THE ARTS STUDENT HANDBOOK

Cost is $100 per month (cash or check only, paid on the first Saturday of the month). Registration is available on the first day of classes. For more information, please contact us at schoolofthearts@roxyregionaltheatre.org or (931) 645-7699.

Effective January 1, 2020, a 3% fee for using a debit or credit card will apply to School of the Arts payments, so we strongly encourage cash or check payments. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, credit card processing fees severely cut into our budget every year, so we have found it necessary to implement this policy. Thank you for your understanding.
